Not necessarily the Road to Perfection but....

He's no Eli Manning, but pretty much everything Hugh Caulk does is nearing perfection.

With the herd down on Super Bowl Sunday and drinking to do, Hugh decided to take things into his own hands.

"They got a few real lazy goals, and I was a little bit pissed about it, and the boys know that I can kick it up a notch at will, and I did!" remarked a humble Caulk. Hugh notched a few goals that even made Sweet Beaujolais green with envy!

A few Elkhorns got abandoned from the herd this day with both Pete and Glen doing the unthinkable, getting kicked out when their team needs them.

"After that we only had one spare, thank goodness we all back check and contribute the way we do" puffed a very tired Beaujie!

Glen decided to adjust a guys back with his stick and Pete was just plain snarley after binge drinking the night before. A quick shove got the Elkhorn GM out of the game early.

The Herd likes to keep Champagne on Ice as much as possible as wins come easily when Caulk plays.
The playoffs start on Friday night. Will Hugh be there, or will the Herd go without the most influential player the league has ever seen.

The only way to find out is to get your seats and watch the game!

Hopefully there will be Champagne on Ice and beers after the win!

Don't worry Hugh & Mr. Tait; Elkhorn management has not taken your skills lightly. That is the exact reason this is the "Unofficial" Elkhorn blog; someone other than management is in cotrol of this particular blog.

Everything is in place to make a serious run for another championship; the only bad news is that rumour has it that Craig & Ron (they are twins by the way) may not be available Friday night as they are still celebrating their birthday from January 25 for some strange reason, but we are still confident we can go all the way.
Mr. Tait; you will soon see that there is nothing better than watching & then drinking with the Elkhorns. See you Friday.

Elkhorn GM, are you really bragging about feeling confident to take a run for the division 4 championship?

Not quite what I would expect from an Elmwood leader, but then again, perhaps leader is a firm word.

Well guys, thanks for the recognition, I got a call from my buddy Ed at the Press and he said I should check out the unofficial blog.

Either way (after I cooled off a bit with the girls from Fuzzy Tacos) I realized that, I'm not in this for the recognition! I'm in it for the team and damn those Fuzzy Tacos (really not much fuzz there), what do they know about a real Elmwood Team.

So, in preparation for tonights game, I've cleared my schedule. I had a birthday party last night, I moved a business meeting, and I'm taking a percocet for my back! All you pussy's with excuses should do the same!

Let's go get 'em Herd...

Blog Watcher

When is the Official Blog going to be up and running.

I would suggest that the Elkhorn GM start running things, rather than ruining things.

True leaders don't point fingers, they make changes and address issues.

I think it to be deplorable that Elkhorn GM has the audacity to actually cut down the unofficial blog, perhaps he could do a better job!

I guess he thinks managing is collecting money, sending out schedules, and pointing fingers.

Where is Cliff Fletcher? Let's get Fergie Junior outta there!

Unlike the Leafs we made the playoffs & everyone hates to play us.
A hard fought 4-3 victory puts us in a good position.
O.K. it's 2:58 which means it is curfew time; wait a minute I stand corrected, I have just poured another triple. Let's change it to 3:03.
The Elkhorns were the only favourites to win tonight so we get to play the Armadillos again; 12:45 at Morse Place. No guarantees but I think we can go all the way barring suspensions.
Craig; Glen thought he bought a round, but there was no RUM for the GM. Beer at 12:35 am doesn't cut it when you have to make the hard decisions.

See you all later this afternoon.

*******BREAKING STORY****

The Fuzzy Tacos (yes THOSE Fuzzy Tacos) invaded The Melrose Beer Gardens and were looking mighty fine!

They were, however, gawked at all night long by some "un named" dirty old men.
